Morocco: Instrumentalisation of the issue of minors in the European Parliament Pending the plenary debate / vote on Thursday 06/10/2021, Morocco will be subject to a procedure initiated by the European Parliament for the following reasons: “Violation of the United Nations convention on the rights of the child and use of minors by the Moroccan authorities in the migration crisis in Ceuta.” An instrumentalisation of the issue of minors. Decryption.
This crisis is not linked to migration but to the entry into Spain, fraudulently, premeditated and orchestrated by the Algerian and Spanish secret services, of an individual, Brahim Ghali, alias Ben Battouche, Head of the Polisario, a terrorist organization responsible for murders of Moroccan fishermen and trained, armed, and supported by Hizbullah and closely aligned with Iran, which is building a network of proxies across Africa, prosecuted by the Spanish courts, for serious crimes against Spanish victims. The move is part of an attempt to distract attention from a purely bilateral political crisis between the two neighboring and partner states, Morocco and Spain. The inclusion of a draft resolution in the European Parliament on 06/10/2021, on a so-called “Violation of the United Nations convention on the rights of the child and use of minors by the Moroccan authorities in the crisis migration in Ceuta ”, is nothing more than a legal-political masquerade. It is in fact the instrumentalisation of the migratory question, and in particular of the question of unaccompanied minors in this case which is clearly apparent in a maneuver aimed at Europeanizing a bilateral crisis.
King Mohammed VI made a move to settle the incident. Indeed, it should be remembered that already, in a joint press release dated June 01, 2021, from Moroccan diplomacy and the Ministry of the Interior, Morocco indicates that Mohamed VI “reiterated” his Instructions to ministers Nacer Bourita and Abdelouafi Laftit ” so that the issue of unaccompanied Moroccan minors, who are in an irregular situation in certain European countries, is definitively settled ”. But it is clear that in this diversionary affair orchestrated by the lobbyists of Spain, Algeria and their allies, Monarchical time is not the political or security time of Europeans.
The parties concerned by this “political suicide”, if the European Parliament dares to condemn Morocco, must learn how to resolve their conflicts by peaceful means and the instruments of diplomacy.
